Company Background Whitehouse Countdown is produced by North South Studios, a full service media company founded in 2004 by co-founders Bill Newell and Sarina Simon. Located in Los Angeles, California and Lima, Peru, North South Studios serves clients in a broad range of industries including education, toys, technology, and finance. North South Studios is largely composed of a dynamite creative team (artists, designers, and musicians) and an expert engineering team.
Whitehouse Countdown is the studio’s first foray into independent publishing and was inspired by several factors. First, we wanted to encourage people to get involved in the upcoming presidential elections, especially young people. Second, we wanted to give the average guy a say, albeit a virtual one, in the high stakes game of political fundraising. Lastly, we wanted to show the world our “chops” and have some fun at the same time.
