Experience vs. Judgment

By mark  1/11/2008 2:47 PM   Replies: 4
Hillary Clinton has said that Barack Obama is too inexperienced to be president. Obama in turn points out that " .Cheney and Rumsfeld had two of the longest resumes in Washington, but that experience didn't translate into good judgment."

What do you think? How important is experience? Of all the candidates who do you think has the most experience? The best judgment?

RE: Experience vs. Judgment

Experience is very important, and if Obama would have had the wonderful wisdom that he claims, he should have participated more in congress specially when there were things that matter to the whole country, instead, he just sit during the sessions and did not contribute in any way. He only began making comments when he wanted to look good as a politician. Not being a Democrat, I have to say that Hilary Clinton showed more courage and had an opinion. Right or wrong, you have to try your best for your country.

RE: Experience vs. Judgment

If experience was so important James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson would be in the list of our best presidents and Abraham Lincoln would be in the list of our worst. History shows the real results are just the opposite.

RE: Experience vs. Judgment

Experience is important, but it isn't always the most important thing. The most important thing is following the will of the people and sticking to your promises.
